    Pressure on government over adoption support and the ASGSF

    After months of campaigning by families, Adoption UK and others across the sector, Lords vote in support of an amendment to the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill, which if passed by MPs in the Commons, would force the government to review the level of ASGSF funding, increasing pressure on government to address gaps in provision caused partly by the cuts made to the funding last April. This comes as we await details of a broader consultation on adoption support. Read more
