Who is it for?

Parent pathway is for adoptive families who may be experiencing the impact of early childhood trauma.

What does it involve?

  1. A consultation for parents with a psychologist, psychotherapist or therapeutic practitioner.
  2. Individual support for parents from a peer support partner (PSP).
  3. A reflective group for parents facilitated by a psychologist, psychotherapist or therapeutic practitioner and a peer support partner (PSP).

How long does it take?

This is a 6-12 month programme.

How can I access it?

Social worker referrals.

Funding for PATH services may differ depending where you live in the UK, however, all PATH services are available self funded.
